What Is Bulliiball?

Bulliiball is a fast, physical co-ed sport that combines soccer’s speed, skill, and continuous movement with American football’s strategy, formations, blocking, and tackling.

Bulliiball is played with a standard Size 5, match-grade soccer ball. The familiar ball allows athletes to dribble, pass, cross, shoot, catch, carry, and deliver the Bullii’s signature forward kick-pass—all within one fast-changing game.

​

In addition, Bulliiball is played on a full-size soccer pitch, enhanced with custom end zones, Bulliiball field markings, and a distinctive goal structure featuring both a traditional soccer goal and an elevated scoring hoop.

​

Two teams of 11 players—nine men and two women—compete on a fusion field featuring soccer goals, football-style end zones, and an elevated scoring hoop. Matches are played in two 45-minute halves, creating a demanding contest of endurance, intelligence, precision, and controlled power.

​

There are no downs and no punts.

Instead, Bulliiball moves naturally between two styles of play: Soccer Mode and Football Mode.

​

Two Modes. One Game.

In Soccer Mode, players dribble, pass, cross, trap, and shoot using traditional soccer skills. Teams can move quickly across the field, create scoring opportunities, or return the ball to the Bullii for a forward kick-pass.

​

Football Mode begins when a player catches and controls the ball with their hands. That player may run toward the end zone while teammates block and defenders attempt to make the tackle.

​

Once the runner is brought down, the ball is placed at the new line of scrimmage. The offense then has 45 seconds to organize, snap the ball, and continue its attack.

​

Possession continues until a team scores, commits a turnover, loses control of the ball, or sends it out of play.

​

The Bullii

Every team is led by one designated Bullii—a unique position that is part quarterback and part striker.

​

The Bullii calls formations, reads the defense, controls the pace of the offense, and is the only player permitted to make a forward kick-pass.

​

The position demands vision, leadership, accuracy, courage, and the ability to make split-second decisions under pressure.

​

Every team has one. Not everyone can be one.

​

Three Ways to Score

Bulliiball gives teams multiple ways to attack.

• Touchdown — 5 points: Carry the ball across the goal line in Football Mode.

• Goal — 10 points: Kick the ball into the soccer goal.

• Field Goal — 3 points: Kick the ball through the elevated hoop from at least 25 yards away.

After a touchdown, teams may also attempt a one-point penalty kick or a two-point field goal.

This scoring system forces teams to constantly choose between power, precision, field position, and risk.

A tracking chip inside the official ball communicates with sensors throughout the field. Illuminated boundaries and scoring technology help officials determine whether the ball crosses a line, enters the goal, or passes through the elevated hoop.

Gender inclusion is built directly into Bulliiball.

Every team must field two women alongside nine men. All players compete under the same rules, wear the same equipment, and participate in every phase of the game.
